Apple has officially introduced Apple Intelligence features to users in India with the release of iOS 18.4, iPadOS 18.4, and macOS Sequoia 15.4.
How to download iOS 18.4 :
To access these features, ensure your device is updated to the latest operating system version. Navigate to Settings > General > Software Update to install iOS 18.4 or the corresponding update for your device.
Key features of iOS 18.4 now available in India:
- Writing Tools: Users can rewrite, correct, and summarize text in a various application, including Mail, Messages, Notes, Pages, and compatible third-party apps. The ‘Rewrite’ function provides alternative versions of text with adjustable tones – professional and friendly. ‘Proofread’ checks grammar, word choice, and sentence structure, providing suggestions with explanations. The ‘Summary’ feature condenses selected text into a paragraph, bullet points, table, or list.
- Cleanup in Photos: This tool allows users to remove unwanted objects or distractions from images, allowing for a more refined and focused visual representation.
- Image Playground: A creative feature that allows users to create unique images using themes, clothing, accessories, and settings. By inputting text descriptions, users can create images in styles such as animation, illustration, and sketch. This functionality is integrated into Messages and other apps such as Freeform and Keynote, and is also available as a standalone app.
- Zenmoji:It allows the users to create personalized emojis by typing a description. You can further customize these by including photos from their library, adding accessories, and choosing themes or activities. Zenmoji can be used inline in messages or shared as stickers or reactions.
- Visual Intelligence:In this feature helps users learn about their surroundings by recognizing objects and places, translating text between languages, and more. It can be accessed by pressing and holding the camera control on supported iPhone models, or through customizable controls in Control Center and the Lock screen.
- ChatGPT Integration:Siri and Writing Tools now include ChatGPT, allowing the users to access its expertise directly within these applications. This integration makes it easier to create content, answer questions, and create images alongside written content. Users have control over this feature and can choose when to use it and what information to share.
